i just loaded metatrader for trading 24hr FX, and it's like i'm back in the 90s

like it even has this "cool" feature that says "you have mail", not to be confused with "you've got mail!"

@Vin_Farren that's why i was takin' a look at FX. i thought maybe i could try some strategies out, but no one is doing anything right now. i think i saw some minor ticking on GBPUSD, but that's it

i just wish i knew how this damn metatrader platform worked. it looks like it could be pretty decent, but it's stuck in the damned 90s

but i looked at when hours are most active. they'll be about an hour before normal markets open in NY/LON. so i figure i can get some good fx trading done in the morning and then do stock or futures trading right at market open

that'll give me about 2 - 2.5 hours of good trading before i have to stop for work
