And to have the government ruled by the workers

Oh so nothing with social owner ship of goods

Well the gonvernment usually takes that away

because everything is usually owned by the government to split it up with others

Well that’s communism

Or very close to it

Well communism and socialism are pretty close together

Well

Take Norway for an example

The state has a huge oil fund

mhm

Which can sorta be classified as social ownership

Cuz it’s meant to help the people

okay

And do what’s best for Norway right

So technically they could be classified as socialist

And they seem to have gotten it to work

yeah but usually the government exploits that

That is if you give it too much power

And let people stay in it for too long

Yeah well people would want to keep their power

Then say that it is for the people

Yea well it is not allowed

But it happens

And every prime minister has realized they cannot stay in power forever

If you are given power would you rather keep it or give it away

Plus the same can be said to America

And every country with democracy

Wouldn’t the president want to be in power forever?

Sure

But we have laws

And so does Norway

There is almost no difference

You cannot sit for more than 8 years

And you cannot go up for re-election

But norway isn't a socialist country

Oh why is that

Sure it has socialist ideals, but that doesn't mean it is socialist
