I just did a query on the HDD in question

even though the source is nowhere near that quality

I have just over 1 TB in total

I get my anime in 1080p with surround sound where possible, but I don't mind if my anime audio isn't FLAC quality

i intentionally avoid flac because it's pointless and stupid

For CDs, I wholeheartedly disagree

and i usually go for 720 anime because that's the source quality

for tv anime at least

people just take the TV source rips and upscale them to 1080 flac

I'm currently (re?)watching Read or Dream, that's 480p 4:3 with stereo sound

which basically just bloats the hell out of the file
