i applied to the same place like ten times
i got 9 no responses and one yes, immediate interview and job
my advice is
gonna have a damn masters in cybersecurity and will have to probably work fuckin help desk for a year
a lot of the hiring people
are not actually all that smart
they are very fickle
having seen them from multiple perspectives now
including from inside the company
a lot of people actually hate them
so i mean
just bear that in mind
they just know the answer to the question they ask that is extremely technical
theres not neccesarilly an actually good reason for rejection on that front
the other thing is you can apply way before actually graduating
and more or less be in the job by the time you are out
it takes time
I'm gonna be looking into some positions next month
just tell them when you will graduate
didn't want to do it too soon
meh some dont
i dunno its probably a good idea to try for it
it took me ages to find a job
i wished i had started earlier
I don't think Lockheed hires anyone past 6 months before grad
im not exactly going to tell you you should definitely do something i was too lazy to do
just say its probably a good idea
why lockheed
I feel like that would be a good place. I want to do contract work with the DoD but I don't want to work FOR the DoD
fair enough
Lockheed does a lot of contracts with them so it would be a good start at least
afaik they are hiring new people right now
so not the worst ever
yeah I've got a buddy that knows some people there, but they are more on the aviation research side and not the tech end
so I am not sure how much help they would be
>shrug
can't hurt to try though lol
quite
it's either that or I try to find a job working at a network traffic monitoring center
talk about boring though
