2019-01-27 21:52:18 UTC

so they gave me that charging handle

2019-01-27 21:52:21 UTC

which was cool too

2019-01-27 21:52:34 UTC

some guys got the apron that was nice

2019-01-27 21:52:55 UTC

I took some badge holders. they were the best compared to other vendors

2019-01-27 21:53:17 UTC

LEO gets the zippo

2019-01-27 21:54:05 UTC

oh yea I got some cool patches from agulia too

2019-01-27 21:54:28 UTC

One was a colorful pistol that had comicbook balloons that goes "pew pew"

2019-01-27 21:54:44 UTC

the lady staffer thought that would be cute on me.

2019-01-27 21:55:05 UTC

then the other patch was "the guns are hungry, feed it"

2019-01-27 21:56:40 UTC

I have used Aquila for my Rifle. I like it

2019-01-27 21:57:39 UTC

they are good ammunition , they OEM for winchester if I recalled correctly

2019-01-27 21:58:52 UTC

My CETME patern eats their 7.62x51 no problem, my freind's AR-10 Pattern however, its too hot.

2019-01-27 21:59:28 UTC

then again, AR-10s are always goofy

2019-01-27 21:59:35 UTC

and problematic in general

2019-01-27 22:00:14 UTC

Well I stand by it because I assembled it from parts on commision from his wife

2019-01-27 22:00:18 UTC

I have a friend who had a similar issue with it

2019-01-27 22:00:43 UTC

Mostly because the way the back part of the reciever is cut vs the BCG

2019-01-27 22:00:54 UTC

the BCG can get stuck on it

2019-01-27 22:01:15 UTC

so he and another friend simply swammed BCG and it was ok after that

2019-01-27 22:01:16 UTC

No, the AR-10 functioned fine, it was popping primers on the brass.

2019-01-27 22:01:36 UTC

O_o popping primpers yikes

2019-01-27 22:01:59 UTC

in general AR-10's just have little quirks as you know there really isnt a real standard to those

2019-01-27 22:02:16 UTC

and my FAL will eat anything

2019-01-27 22:02:29 UTC

That is why I said the ammo was too hot.

2019-01-27 22:02:58 UTC

My CETME pattern eats everything and poops out crushed metal

2019-01-27 22:03:50 UTC

only issue I had once was a case head rupture from a vendor reload

2019-01-27 22:03:56 UTC

thought I saw my life flashed by me

2019-01-27 22:05:18 UTC

Interestly I have had problems with Fiacho .22LR rounds. They were ripping appart in my plinker. (Berretta ARX-160-22)

2019-01-27 22:06:09 UTC

The carbine was over built so I was perfectly safe

2019-01-27 22:07:07 UTC

imho if you havent experinced a rupture before, you've havent grown up to be a gun adult yet

2019-01-27 22:07:22 UTC

its like a right of passage

2019-01-27 22:08:03 UTC

I had NATO Brass blow on the range. Had to clear a hot 249 durring shooting.

2019-01-27 22:08:15 UTC

fun fun

2019-01-27 22:08:30 UTC

those happen more because how loose their chamber is

2019-01-27 22:08:52 UTC

case tend to get real stretched out. Machine guns ya know. its meant to be like that

2019-01-27 22:09:24 UTC

Hay I was safe, my AG next to me got brass on his Eyepro

2019-01-27 22:09:50 UTC

and I suspect my rupture issue was bassed that was in an M60

2019-01-27 22:10:02 UTC

either way. its still scary

2019-01-27 22:10:28 UTC

eye pro or not, you can still loose a finger or get scar faced

2019-01-27 22:11:16 UTC

Our unit had a dumb ass pick up the 249 by the barrel with no gloves.

2019-01-27 22:11:24 UTC
