Apparently my extra hot 9x19 where I load 5.9gr of longshot into a 115gr armscor bullet have major shift in my competition pistol

it's not nearly as bad in my generic g19

I think the barrel is impinging on the locking surface in a really strange way

it's got an extended barrel

It'll soon have another, even more extended barrel this time with muzzle brake cuts

I want a 9x19 AR upper that isn't straight blowback

9x19 is just the default standard right now, so yeah.

9x19 is not exactly high pressure so a little play isn't the end of the world

they could just have the locking lugs moved to where the forward assist impinges on the bolt

You would need to redesign the upper and bolt for that in an "AR"esque pattern carbine

Colt already did the blowback mods and it is well known now on the "AResque" market so that is easy for people to do

and it is probably the only low power longshot load I have that's consistent

low power 124's with LS suck, so do 40 S&W ones (150, 165) and 45 acp

they'll have spreads around 50 FPS

Longshot is exceptionally picky

It likes hot loads

it gets really consistent when you get into the upper PSI's
