it might be 4d chess where if mit can show that they are putting the allocated ip addresses to use then they can keep them. they might be hoarding them for future stuff like wifi connected lights and multipl processors.

A forward grip with an extension should be able to work as a perfectly good mono pod cobo, for the recoil of any crowbar, well below 7.63mm obviously.
