to China
SKT lost, 3-0
I was referring too the world as a whole, when it starts pulling weight in Europe and North America, I’ll see it as a major industry rather than mostly regional based one.
well of course, they didn't have hacks like china does /s
Speaking of which, China has some pretty crazy hacks for mobile games.
seriously tho, block chineses ips on your game servers, not worth it. just ask pubg
oh wait
this whole discussion is dum
You are correct @Schedrevka
well it is shitposting
@Crimsom I doubt and hope it doesn't. Mobile games aren't taken seriously in the west. The reasons why it is big in Asia don't really replicate to the west also.
the mobile game model has more influence then most of us care to admit
Yeah, I hope it doesn’t take off here either. Just saying it’s influence is limited
we already got micro transactions from them
the worst part already took hold
its why i look mostly at indy games now. AAA is a joke
tripple A industry is drying up
Indie games and japanese games are taking over imo
A very large crossover into the mainstream consciousness... new game mechanics.. innovation in graphics and game design
korean too
the studios going full SJW is ruining them too
i blame publishers
Asia is immune to this
naw, SJW isn't even the worse think killing stuff.
you think?
its out of touch publishers forcing down game design choices that kill things
media, hollywood, tripple A studios... all the same problem
naw, EA has always been shit
they jsut had a few golden gooses they didn't fuck with
I'm talking about bad games, not the publishers
so they released the same game year after year
He has a point, Konami didn’t just kill MGS. They made it’s dead body into a puppet. Charging ten dollars for an extra save slot....
I know, and i blame publishers for a chuck of those bad games.
tbh, it's a discussion I dont really care. Let them die off
all 3
EA with battlefront 2, TakeTwo with GTA and nearly killing the PC version.
Hollywood, media, AAA
it's been years since I bought a AAA game
Yeah, it would be nice if that happened. Problem is that they won’t just die, they’ll starve grasping at there influence and money.
most games with a lot of relevance and popularity also tend to be indies
