in my school we did have a shooting club
or not made up more like unfalsifiable
and we had ruger 10/22's

our entire thing was to compete with other schools and be better at schooting
they also offered a class that taught gun safety and discipline
overall this was a good thing
in my opinion
in an armed society gun safety should be a part of the curriculum.
