That second poster is only a parody, because *Robot Girls Z* is an actual anime where they turned their classic mecha series into anime girls:
The one and only true religion
Is that real??
yup its a guy who dresses in cosplay and then shoots guns
"What herasy is this?"
weirdly like 1/2 the guys who are decent at crossplay are huge gun enthusiasts
no clue if that guy is good at it tho
There we go, that's the youtube version
Is that a Center Ballance AK bullpup stock?
Center balance yes, bullpup yes, but based on an SKS
The SKS stock? I didn't get a good look at the action to tell the differnance
Me neither. I just asked him.
I am not participating in Inrange's 2G ACM so I would have to take your word
Me neither, I'm half a planet away from Arizona
i hear too much confliction about it as a choice for hunting
It's x39, used to be cheaper but there's certainly worse options
Frankly the bigger issue with using a milsurp SKS for hunting is gonna be accuracy
7.62Soviet (7.62x39) is comparable to .30-30 (.30WCF) and for ages that was the most popular hunting round in the eastern woods
Does anything really beat an AR these days in terms of price?
Surplus SKS in states that ban 5.56 for hunting
ahh maybe thats where the confliction i hear comes from, people who praise it might be coming from states with such laws
A few places have restrictions of calibers for hunting. A few States will charge you with Cruelty to Animals for trying to shoot a deer with a 5.56x45 (No reasable expectation of a 1 shot kill). In those areas, 7.62Soviet is cheeper and easier than a .300BLK or .25x45 AR-15 pattern carbine
boi looking good 👌
ex-vet buddy who worked at aberdeen testing grounds lements that the .300BLK should be the new NATO round but we'll never change to it because its not tied to military contractors or something
From where I sit, the next NATO round will have to completely break away from the current USGI Mag dimensions in order to be adopted.
And do so in a way that no can denny this is the better round
the whole point he had with the .300BLK is it would be so easy to convert, and its roughly exactly what we are looking for in regards to balance of ballistics and penetration or w/e
i think the whole reason we are "stuck" with 5.56 is because we done screwed up making everybody go 7.62 NATO then costing everybody heavily by swapping to 5.56 and nobody wants to change unless we are certain or it can be done fairly cheaply
🤷
Like I said, right now everyone is trying to improve on 5.56x45 but keeping the same Magazine dimensions, so for the militaries view point there isn't a good enough innovation in current Intermediate rounds to justify a new NATO Intermediate Caliber Standard Round. So long as we restrict development to keeping the magazine dimensions, none of the NATO partners will see anything that justifies a change.
