If it wasn't music on the interwebs it would be smoke signels. Don't blame the medium, blame cause.

even for Sweden, I find this very hard to believe
I'm skeptical too
"encourages", sure
let's look it up
not a swede, but I speak Swedish fluently
so... on it
alright, here's the article
you said you speak Swedish?
this is just disgusting
"boys are pressured to wear dresses"
sounds to me they're using strong language in the title but the point is the same
yeah, strong language in the title, I dislike unnecessarily strong language because it detracts from the legitimate point being made... How do I put this... The title is "borderline clickbait" but the article itself is not
reading the Swedish article, this is based on an interview with someone giving a personal account of some pretty heavy ideological indoctrination witnessed
Okay, the relevant passage
>One thing still left is the dress-up clothes. One day a boy had decided to wear a firefighter's outfit
"You know you're allowed to wear a dress if you want to, right?" Said one of the pedagogues (teachers) according to Anna
"But I don't want to wear a dress! I want to wear this!" allegedly the boy replied
"But you know you can wear the dress?" asked the pedagogue
- I don't understand why children should be forced to something, let them wear what they want, says Anna
I wholeheartedly agree it's disgusting to pressure children into this kind of behavior
hes more birb than man now, twittered and ibis
I feel sorry for the people caught in the crossfire, but I don't feel sorry for the people who started it and the people who advocated for it
but yeah, "force" is unnecessarily strong, nobody in Sweden AFAIK has that kind of authority
they dug their own grave, now they must lie on it
i feel sorry for the children
I do too
they're the people "caught in the crossfire"
meh, children are tougher than you think, I grew up with Pippi and Emil
3rd generation of ideology over results
while classics, the books (and filmatizations) are old and... not really suitable for a modern audience
