Yeah, self-diagnosis can be very irresponsible, especially for the tumblr types who see it as an excuse for any failings, or lack of effort.
It can be useful though when doctors are stumped, because some conditions are rare, and a lot of doctors will just shrug their shoulders when they can't figure out what you have, but will look into it if you push them in the right direction.

i mean my struggle is in part words, but i liked math and pysphics, i was very good at it in one sense, understanding it, but bad at it academically because in academics it doesn't require intrinsic understanding, it requires repitition. I came to conclusion my father is similar but either under a better environment (the 1960s education system, varied ways to learn math) or just less severe, and also over time came to conclusion through helping other people understand complex concepts that im doing no favors but not sticking my nose in the dirt and getting educated

ive done a few small ventures where i educate people on basic concepts, sometimes automotive, easier to relate to (oddly) air combat games, i get thank you letters at one time for spelling out what i thought were easy concepts to people because nobody else did, but because i do not have a proper in depth backround i am holding myself back, which i guess i should view as a crime eitherway, upon myself and upon what i could be giving to others

there are some Finnish (black, in particular) metal bands that are pretty big as well as far as metal music goes, but it's all still relatively underground. Nightwish is probably the most well-known one globally, but you've got Children of Bodom, Apocalyptica, Poets of the Fall, Finntroll... HIM and 69 Eyes used to be big in the 90's/00's...
