He mentions he's half-Korean sometimes
And that his family had to move around to deal with anti-miscegenation laws
yeah I know he mentions it fairly often, in an attempt to signal to the left or tell an anecdote, but I can't recall him having used it as an argument.
the argument goes like... "I'm not white" so "I didn't enjoy white priviledge"
there is no valid reason he should be saying he is mixed there
unless he is validating the far left's way of thinking
"I didn't get my turn"
it's implied "those that are white did"
I heard a good ponit recently regarding equality, it went something like "I've been all over the world and the only time I've ever seen equality is when I saw a white man and a black man panhandling next to each other. Only the poor can have equality. Two members of the middle class will never be equal."
"I didn't get my turn" implies he didnt get any "turn" as he wasint born in to any supper power bs privilige the left likes to immagine
but by saying that, he implies ppl that are white did
yeah, definitely a bad move on Tim's end
in another videos he basically explains why racial/identity politics doesn't work (particularly for mixed race)
when he disagrees with the left, he's just another huwite male, and when he does, he's asian
I don't think he's bringing it up for personal validation, rather, to try and bridge a ideological divide
and I don't think he even brings it up as often as you make it out to be
this is just the most recent one, there's so many examples like this
he is even explicitly saying "yeah you can argue patriarchy and that", as if that actually WAS an argument with merit
no "I didn't get my turn" is talking about hes huwhite part of genetic heritage
I think it's like the argument "I'm still waiting for my check from George Soros", if they can use that logic I can use the logic that I'm still waiting on my check for having pale skin.
that doesn't work for the left, if you aren't white, you are male, there, you are priviledged
what's next? "I don't identify as male" to fish for points too?
you understand what I mean here, right? He is trying to argue using their logic
nothing works for the left except for the bs rules the coocked up for the day
exactly
People have been identifying as non-male to fish for points for like, the past decade
that's why starting with a "I'm mixed" is a very bad start for the argument
yeah. I get you Belial, and you're right. Here he is stooping to their level and using their "logic"
I just want to survive whatever violent upgrising the left has cooking
I don't expect to beat them with logic any time soon
@Risotto about what you said above. There is no "equality". You make a system with equality of opportunity and that's it
Yeah, I think the US creating laws against discriminatory hiring practices was the end of it. That's everything we can do about racism.
We can't make people like you or your culture
sometimes you have to use someone's own reasoning and logic to point out flaws in theyr argument, to bad its useless for a daft zelot
I suppose
@Arhiwolf that's not what I'm saying. I'm not saying you can't use your enemies logic against them
but then you need to make it very, very clear that's what you're doing
but it's not what he did here
He said he wasn't white and then "you can argue patriarchy"
you absolutely can use someone's logic against them
he knew that saying he is mixed was just for points
