*as long as they get to do the research*

2018-10-02 11:32:08 UTC

ya what is that based in

2018-10-02 11:33:02 UTC

we can definitely say its based in hierchys (drunk fuck spelling), but i haven't yet found a engineer who literally created what they could just for the sake of destruction

2018-10-02 11:33:08 UTC

even if destruction was literally its end goal

2018-10-02 11:34:34 UTC

yeah, I'm going to agree with one.

2018-10-02 11:40:06 UTC

poppy you are nice lad why are we fighting

2018-10-02 11:40:19 UTC

we should engineer some nice ass turbines and study the art of ECM together

2018-10-02 11:40:20 UTC

uwu

2018-10-02 11:43:28 UTC

Coz arguing is fun. It keeps you sharp and you learn about other people. Thats why I don't call you a murderer and you don't call me cuck. I

2018-10-02 11:44:10 UTC

I Don't know what ECM but I'm happy to be taught 😏

2018-10-02 11:45:20 UTC

Right, I'm with ya.

2018-10-02 11:45:34 UTC

the last bastion of the sword fighter tbh, even if we look on it in 2020 with all our tech as a dead-art just as sword fighting was

2018-10-02 11:45:50 UTC

You ever flown a plane?

2018-10-02 11:46:11 UTC

I like sword fighting. I've got a kid, I get plenty of pratice.

2018-10-02 11:46:25 UTC

no im a car person, but i came to like it because in gaming sphere it proved to be deeper then i could of imagined

2018-10-02 11:47:15 UTC

I flew one for about half an hour in new zealand. It was the best thing I've ever done.

2018-10-02 11:47:17 UTC

it seems like basic sounding physics, but in practice more complicated then most people can manage, so then finding people who can instinctively react is like WEWEWEWEW

2018-10-02 11:47:26 UTC

i'd imagine

2018-10-02 11:47:32 UTC

i'd get a ultra-light if i could

2018-10-02 11:48:06 UTC

Me too. I've got an old mower and I keep looking at in that way.

2018-10-02 11:48:15 UTC

lmao

2018-10-02 11:48:25 UTC

*what if i strapped a fan to this and tied a parachute to myself*

2018-10-02 11:48:34 UTC

I live near a small air field and ppl go about in ultarlights all the time.

2018-10-02 11:49:47 UTC

They did it a hundred years ago. With the motas we have these days and tools the average Joe can get hold of, I bet you could knock one together.

2018-10-02 11:50:46 UTC

tbh i spent way too much time figuring out thrust to weight ratios of RC aircraft engines and air-foils i could tie to my body. luckily i was poor in my early 20s (and sadly) have remained poor, but at this point i have good enough depth in NACA archives if you could give me a decent thrust to weight i'd tie it to myself

2018-10-02 11:51:25 UTC

lol

2018-10-02 11:51:53 UTC

I take it you watched that bloke fly over the channel a few years back?

2018-10-02 11:52:01 UTC

which bloke?

2018-10-02 11:52:20 UTC

link since could be handful in my state of confusion

2018-10-02 11:53:21 UTC

4 hobby jet engines and home made fiberglass foil.

2018-10-02 11:55:09 UTC

im sorry, i cant help looking at this and thinking this is the future of suicide bommers

2018-10-02 11:55:54 UTC

"we cound just send the rocket sir" "but I wont get my 72 virgins then, strap me on!"

2018-10-02 11:56:24 UTC

@Poppy Rider yep yep exactly what i was thinking of lol

2018-10-02 11:56:25 UTC

a whole new meaning to virgin airlines

2018-10-02 11:57:16 UTC

its cool figurative idea, but in reality a parachute with a lawnmower engine exists, has plans and advice, and gets same job done lol

2018-10-02 11:57:26 UTC

slower speed but not like you are stationary
