MIcrosoft™ has teased the release of a new Operating System, despite stating previously that Windows™ 10™ would be the the only OS they would be developing.
The new operating system is a fork of 10™, with the exact same code, aesthetic and price point as 10™. The new features that distinguish this OS have been announced.
First, the version of Solitaire™ that comes with Windows™ (since version 3.0) will be heavily updated to include new themed decks.
Second and more importantly, a new exiting feature has been implemented to the local networking of Windows™. Every day, a controller will start this feature on the local network , whether it be home or business, and randomly select a PC , Windows™ or otherwise, every few hours. The controller will then either force massive updates onto the machine (taking longer than 24 hours to complete, un-skippable or pausable for maximum benefit to the end user) if it is a PC using windows™. Otherwise, the controller simply forces hard crash errors onto the device, overrides power requirements to over-clock the Processors, or uses Intel backdoors to make the processor explode (Microsoft™ has updated their EULA to mitigate any responsibility for potential damage to End Users™)
One by one, devices on the network will be targeted until only one Windows™ PC will be left. The "Microsoft™ Victor™" will then recieve a free randomized skinned deck for the updated Solitaire™ game.
In response, Apple has force-updated Macintosh™ and iOS™ devices with 27 new Pride Emojis. Linux creator Linus Torvalds has responded with a short blog post stating that future versions of the niche operating system will include "Yeet on nibba" mode, although Mr Torvalds has not elaborated on what this would entail.
