The internet has made so many people stick their heads above the parapet

2020-03-19 21:06:11 UTC

And now it's self-surveillance

2020-03-19 21:09:34 UTC

Yeah now I remember when you said Milo. It's funny with some things that I have known for years but never fully realized.

2020-03-19 21:09:59 UTC

And then it hits you, why was I so blind.

2020-03-20 13:05:52 UTC

I hate roads because they bring niggers closer to my doorstep and for every other reason he listed plus many more.

Modern roads are designed specifically to withstand the friction of thousands of cars driving through them at upwards of 60mph every single day

2020-03-20 18:32:31 UTC

Not many materials can withstand that without constant need of repairs

2020-03-20 18:33:06 UTC

They also need to be built cost-effectively, expediently, and at an incredibly larger scale

2020-03-20 18:33:18 UTC

Comprimes need to be made

2020-03-20 18:33:53 UTC

Yeah

2020-03-20 19:31:57 UTC

The main issue with asphalt afaik was water freezing in tiny cracks where it expands and causes the cracks to get worse and whatnot

2020-03-20 19:34:03 UTC

They're usefull because they're more even, were cheap since asphalt was easy to make with the byproducts of refining of oil and more comfortable to drive on which was especially valuable when cars didn't have suspension that was decent

2020-03-20 19:34:44 UTC

Paving stones are already cracked so that is not an issue. But they are terrible for high speed travel.

2020-03-20 19:34:54 UTC

Yeah

2020-03-20 19:35:39 UTC

Especially cobble stone pavement. Well done artificial paving stones are not that bad.

2020-03-20 19:36:23 UTC

I could see them being a good option for more backwards countries

2020-03-20 19:36:32 UTC

Where asphalt might be a bit too high tech

2020-03-20 19:37:38 UTC

Yes but they are so dumb and lazy they would rather use their shitty roads than make an effort.

2020-03-20 19:38:31 UTC

I really like paving stones because you can easily reuse them, add to existing pavement repair it and they also look better than the alternative.

2020-03-20 19:38:33 UTC

True but their governments should be able to make them make roads
Labour costs aren't really a factor in Africa so what's stopping them really

2020-03-20 19:38:57 UTC

Maybe a big issue is that paving stones might get stolen
