The people watch shadows projected on the wall from objects passing in front of a fire behind them, and give names to these shadows. The shadows are the prisoners' reality.

I’ve been listening to Plato’s Republic
It’s kind of hard to follow sometimes tho
try listening to it on .25x speed
The narrator actually does a pretty good job as it is
I swear by the end “yes” and “yes it is” and other polite agreements won’t even sound like words anymore
