There was a pretty good thread about the Kothorix "The furry community is worse than you can imagine" video on /trash/ a few weeks back, the consensus was that while he's not wrong in his observation, he is making the wrong diagnosis. The problems he's ascribing the "furry community" aren't isolated, and applies to almost any community with a large proportion of young people and a low barrier to entry. Tumblr, Anime (anime especially has a TON of pedo bait), League of Legends, Five Nights at Freddy's, Steven Universe...

the boundaries for what a community is are so poorly defined any mould you want will fit. Is /trash/ part of the furry community and it happens to be on 4chan? Or is /trash/ part of the 4chan community and it happens to revolve (largely) around the same topics furries do?

my dad has actually cured a lot of vegans' anxiety by getting them to drink soup stock

Jordan Peterson said one of the results of his all-beef diet was reduced anxiety as well

In his case though the benefits come from leaving out vegetables, not from eating meat
