@Skellington that is rather skewed logic. "If whites don't even reproduce how can you blame elites for organizing their replacement" - same way of thinking. Were the text burned? Were they relied on oral tradition? We can't say for certain that there were no text if they had their own writing system.

2020-04-08 17:04:51 UTC

thats not skewed logic

2020-04-08 17:05:00 UTC

if you dont reproduce you will be replaced

2020-04-08 17:05:42 UTC

@Canadian Man i think i watched half of that video

2020-04-08 17:05:59 UTC

Try watching the whole series.

2020-04-08 17:06:06 UTC

It's skewed for us. If we go the same way about our current predicament we should do nothing.

2020-04-08 17:06:06 UTC

It's an intresting look into Evola.

2020-04-08 17:06:27 UTC

I have read Evolas treatise on war, Metaphysics of War or something, and I was not very impressed

2020-04-08 17:06:28 UTC

@Korin Dickman yea it is skewed for us. we may not like it but its whats happening

2020-04-08 17:06:33 UTC

Also it is a good look into Pagan theology and way of thinking.

2020-04-08 17:06:51 UTC

His analysis of the mentality of the crusaders was the same as that of Jonathan Riley-Smith, but the latter actually backed it up with sources.

2020-04-08 17:07:27 UTC

@AH-64 Well, take this from a metaphysical position.

2020-04-08 17:07:36 UTC

I would urge you to watch with an open mind.

2020-04-08 17:07:59 UTC

I'm not saying it's NOT happening. I'm saying that through this logic the replacement is justified the same way the iconoclasm is.

2020-04-08 17:09:09 UTC

>Were the text burned? Were they relied on oral tradition? We can't say for certain that there were no text if they had their own writing system.
If they were burned, we'd know. We know of hundreds of hellenic philosophers, poets and so on solely because someone passed their names or a fragment on. Thousands, I'm willing to bet. How many slavic or germanic philosophers and so on do we know only by name and a reference to their works?

2020-04-08 17:09:25 UTC

Lgbt could say the same to us. Oh no you want to replace our tolerant culture with something that prioritizes heteronormativity. but what of the progress we have made. your logic justifies iconoclasm

2020-04-08 17:09:29 UTC

i dont see your point

2020-04-08 17:09:36 UTC

people in the world have different interests

2020-04-08 17:09:42 UTC

and beliefs

2020-04-08 17:09:53 UTC

and will always seek to replace their enemies beliefs or people with their own beliefs or people

2020-04-08 17:10:23 UTC

Besides, Christians would have relayed the burning of their books, but they didn't. They told us about the cutting down of sacred trees and even the (very controversial) forced conversion of the Saxons, but they are silent on any pagan books that were burned.

2020-04-08 17:12:09 UTC

Books were erased, back in the day, because paper was prohibitively expensive, so if a monk needed to write something down and he had no paper, he erased an older book he thought would be without value. Sounds barbarous, but if paper became as expensive as a car, we'd take up this practice in a stride.

2020-04-08 17:16:13 UTC

@Korin Dickman lets just go back to the beginning here . you said christianity had a problem with universalism. the points you brought up were vague and even you yourself admitted you could not say exactly what you meant. so why dont you tell us what you meant

2020-04-08 17:16:29 UTC

were just getting in the weeds here about paganism

2020-04-08 17:18:06 UTC

Honestly just a question? What is the point of talking about this. Overall i see no fruit bore from this only conflect, All of you will not convince the other of a Issue you see within there logic. So if nothing can be reached there is no point.

2020-04-08 17:19:12 UTC

All of you are quite well versed within these subject's, But you will get no were.

2020-04-08 17:19:50 UTC

what does it mean to be anti universalist

2020-04-08 17:20:12 UTC

Who are you asking?.

i was answering candaian man

2020-04-08 17:23:02 UTC

Oh, alright.

2020-04-08 17:38:56 UTC

@Skellington I try to formulate my thought in understandable manner and can't do it right now. I might return to this topic when I have more to say. Again, the simplest way I can describe what I have problem with is notion "As long as you are Christian... (the rest doesn't matter)". It might be just the how modern "Christianity" is presenting itself. Other then that I must concede here. There is no point in continuing this discussion when I can't properly present my idea so I admit surrender.

2020-04-08 17:44:30 UTC

its more like so long as you are christ like and obey gods law. not so long as you are a christian

2020-04-09 05:56:32 UTC

So what are your guys' philosophy leanings here?
