A post modern post reactionary

2020-04-09 06:09:30 UTC

catholic

2020-04-09 06:09:38 UTC

Post-reactionary?

2020-04-09 06:09:53 UTC

Also nice you're based

2020-04-09 06:10:11 UTC

Care to explain the post-reactionary part?

2020-04-09 06:11:07 UTC

Its a bit long and complicated but alright

2020-04-09 06:19:48 UTC

Its a bit of a meme term but I kinda use it as a place holder term for now. Essentially a post reactionary position comes from a couple of conclusions on the state of the world and more specifically Reactionary politics place within it. Of those conclusions some of the more important points are that Liberalism is the best form of government currently in terms of raw power acquisition and beating out any competitor ideology such as communism and Reactionary regimes, any sort of reactionary regime will always be in a significant disadvantage in most areas that actually matter such as raw industry, economy and government efficiency due to how they operate and the steps they would have to take in order to be able to resist liberal influences in the modern world. From there the general strategy of a post reactionary is not to compete with a liberal structure head on (even in the event of us actually taking power within a nation) but rather to attempt to cripple our adversaries to still remain relevant and not be outperformed

2020-04-09 06:21:56 UTC

@RIP Skelly Interesting. So, essentially, you disagree with the "praxis" that most reactionaries would employ?

2020-04-09 06:22:09 UTC

Is this similar to the fabian strategy? (the real one not the meme "always run away" one)

2020-04-09 06:22:13 UTC

Or do you have any fundamental disagreements with regards to beliefs?

2020-04-09 06:23:19 UTC

Because to be frank, reactionaries tend to agree more on what they're against than what they're for

2020-04-09 06:23:46 UTC

@Techpriest of house Roundeye no because the actual strategy is less hit and run and more just about stealing resources and siphoning from the fruits of liberal societies

2020-04-09 06:24:32 UTC

@Techpriest of house Roundeye The "Post-Reactionary" Label was my Invention and the justification for the Despoiler Scheme, it is mostly a placeholder label.

2020-04-09 06:24:39 UTC

oh boy

2020-04-09 06:24:50 UTC

I should have known Despot would be involved in this

2020-04-09 06:24:54 UTC

😆

2020-04-09 06:25:19 UTC

The "Post-Reactionary" was mostly replaced with my other term of a "High-Peak Stagnancy"

2020-04-09 06:25:50 UTC

But to explain the Stagnant-Ascendant Power Dichotomy demands an entirely separate and tedious conversation.

2020-04-09 06:26:27 UTC

despoliation is really the only way to theoretically stay relevant as a political force in the way of eternal progress

2020-04-09 06:26:43 UTC

I see

2020-04-09 06:30:05 UTC

I prefer the seperationist approach or the Fabian strategy but I cant fault Despot for his tenacity

2020-04-09 06:31:31 UTC

The Stagnant-Ascendant Power Dichotomy can better be understood in a smaller scale in fact. Imagine starting a business or some kind of nonprofit, you are trying to sell products and collect donations and you are competing with other forces. Generally you find out that in competition you are stuck and start plateauing, so you start potentially resulting to bizarre strategies that generally involve Astroturfing, Rent-Seeking, and Negative Selection.

2020-04-09 16:53:54 UTC

Coincidentally, I've been considering using the term "Post-Reactionary" for my views.

2020-04-09 16:54:51 UTC

Before even hearing about Despot or anything

2020-04-09 16:56:07 UTC

Guess it's time for us to join together and form our own Post-Rx Trichotomy!

2020-04-09 16:56:39 UTC

Or a Dichotomy

2020-04-09 16:56:52 UTC

Or hexahedrachotomy

2020-04-09 16:58:05 UTC

i prefer the term reactionary modernist

2020-04-09 16:59:45 UTC

That's cool too

2020-04-09 17:00:02 UTC

I'm going with Post-Reactionary Libertarian

2020-04-09 17:15:02 UTC

logical incoherence
