Yup, no immunity after surviving it. You are still on a ride and the tracks never end.

Im pretty sure once you're infected with a virus, it stays in your system indefinitely.

2020-02-27 14:57:51 UTC

There is a reason it's called Airborn AIDS

2020-02-27 14:59:32 UTC

The question now is - is that actually the case or does it linger for some time and dies of or they get reinfected by "normal way".

2020-02-27 14:59:51 UTC

Ehh AIDS really isn't a fair comparison.

2020-02-27 15:00:11 UTC

You almost have a zero chance of contracting aids, if you're not a degenerate.

2020-02-27 15:00:42 UTC

But it acts like one so the comparison is rather on point.

2020-02-27 15:00:59 UTC

I cannot belive the world goverments are this incopetent when it comes to containing the virus
there has to be a good reason behind it

2020-02-27 15:01:20 UTC

Pretty sure he lost some social credit points for that

2020-02-27 15:01:20 UTC

are they trying to kill off 1/3 of the worlds population or what

2020-02-27 15:01:23 UTC

Stock markets

2020-02-27 15:01:34 UTC

it cant be just because of stock markets

2020-02-27 15:01:57 UTC

Do you lose social credit points if you get infected?

2020-02-27 15:02:15 UTC

You have a 1 in a thousand chance of contracting HIV if you smash an HIV positive female in the pussy. The chance of infection only exists in cases of sodomy.

2020-02-27 15:02:32 UTC

It really is the gay disease.

2020-02-27 15:03:18 UTC

As for the coronavirus, Korea has less than a 1% fatality rate for those infected. China 2%. Iran 19% but everyone thinks Iran is finagling their numbers.

2020-02-27 15:03:46 UTC

So I doubt there's gonna be a mass die off. I also doubt it's a bioweapon.

2020-02-27 15:04:26 UTC

When designing a bioweapon, you want something that has a short half life and a high mortality rate. It hits fast and burns out.

2020-02-27 15:07:12 UTC

then suddenly people strat dying from coof in italy

2020-02-27 15:07:14 UTC

hmmmmmm

2020-02-27 15:14:44 UTC

Just to run some numbers because I think you are underestimating it still. 20% of all cases will be sever cases ( will require medical assistance), it is EXTREMELY INFECTIOUS, it's airborn, you don't develop immunity to it. My question is, do you belive that any medical system is able to respond properly to such massive outbreak? Bio weapon if developed properly will be controllable, yes. But nobody said it was Bio weapon released on purpose. This thing being a lab run away is still a possibility. Everyone is fudging their number, China being the most obvious. The fatality due to disease ITSELF might not be that high BUT if you take to the account the how disruptive it is you will get much higher percentage. If it won't kill you directly it could harm you indirectly. Shortages and economic damage being the most obvious negative effect of the virus and lack of medical care.
I forgot to add asymptomatic spread to the list of why this shit is so contagious.

2020-02-27 15:15:12 UTC

Tl;Dr - shit's fucked no matter how you look at it.

2020-02-27 15:28:13 UTC

@LimaGolf what I've been getting at. https://youtu.be/YQ38aWVW2N8
Food shortages and panic buying.

2020-02-27 15:31:23 UTC

Okay... that is a fair assessment to some degree. Mass panic would prove more dangerous than the disease itself. @Korin Dickman

2020-02-27 15:34:02 UTC

At this point mass panic is guaranteed and is justified.

2020-02-27 15:34:09 UTC

>im a human being not a virus
ok get away from me slanted eyed freak

2020-02-27 15:34:31 UTC

Get ready. If not for plague then for supply shortages.

2020-02-27 15:35:21 UTC

Globalism will get hit hard hard by this but so do we.

2020-02-27 15:35:32 UTC

dont be so optimistic

2020-02-27 15:35:44 UTC

i doubt this is the end

2020-02-27 15:35:45 UTC

I'm not

2020-02-27 15:37:39 UTC

Corrected the sentence. If globalism will be damaged (trade, manufacturing ect.) so do will our everyday life because we live in this system or even are part of it (like it or not).

2020-02-27 15:39:08 UTC

Like the heroine addict who suffers when his dealer is pinched.

2020-02-27 15:39:25 UTC

yes

2020-02-27 15:39:31 UTC

in the words of moldbug

2020-02-27 15:39:36 UTC

everyone is a globalist crack baby

2020-02-27 15:42:35 UTC

It's unfortunate reality but it is how it is. If you don't live in isolated, self-sustaining community you will negatively affect. But the silver lining(if it even can be called like this right now) is this situation shows how fragile this entire thing is and puts a lot of dents in credibility and competence of governments and international organizations like WHO.
