And that's not an irony. He would become living example why his ideology doesn't work.

2020-03-01 12:35:37 UTC

But I doubt he will learn a lesson from this (like most people).

2020-03-01 14:00:45 UTC

Are turks even human?

2020-03-01 14:05:32 UTC

Turks like wolves because they/dogs are heavily associated with the Gökturks afaik

2020-03-01 14:05:52 UTC

Weirdly enough Turkish people in Germany are scared shitless of dogs though

We are beyond fucked

2020-03-01 14:20:32 UTC

That tweet doesn’t make sense

2020-03-01 14:21:03 UTC

Stop buying masks it doesn’t work but we need masks because they work

2020-03-01 14:21:12 UTC

Like which is it

2020-03-01 14:49:39 UTC

he never said they need them for corona

2020-03-01 14:50:15 UTC

it probably helps with other diseases and keeping clean hospitals in general

I'm ready

2020-03-01 16:06:51 UTC

youre gonna get a peanut allergy after the first 3 glasses and then die of allergic shock with the fourth

2020-03-01 16:41:03 UTC

Holy f-

2020-03-01 17:00:36 UTC

@RIP Skelly I totally agree, government can be a force for good that can push our own ends. @Mr. Nessel I was just using a tax example. Just making the point id be fine raising taxes on the wealthy to boost services that would benefit the population like Child Benefits, Infrastructure, etc

2020-03-01 17:01:50 UTC

I support that too, however it's quite the step to have a wealth tax rather than just raising income taxes

2020-03-01 17:06:59 UTC

@Mr. Nessel I suppose so. im not a economist so i cant say which tax would be most beneficial to raise revenue lol. I was just responding to Charlemagne that government can raise revenue and then spend it in a way that benefits society. We can debate the exact way to raise revenue or what to spend it on but Charlemagne was moving close to Libertarian retard territory and i was just making the point that it can, and should.

2020-03-01 17:07:25 UTC

We agree then

2020-03-01 18:40:40 UTC

remember that taxing the rich makes them leave the country and then you get nothing at all

2020-03-01 18:41:14 UTC

so it has to be reasonable

2020-03-01 18:41:14 UTC

@Argent7771 dude, get some canned fruit and meat. You won't be able to run on beans alone. Still pretty good.

2020-03-01 18:44:59 UTC

Variety is the name of the game. You won't probably get power cut off so some meat in freezer is good idea. If you can get dry meat.

2020-03-01 18:49:35 UTC

Some canned maks or tuna should also be considered.

2020-03-01 18:56:41 UTC

I have meat and frozen vewggies

2020-03-01 18:56:53 UTC

I just didn't take those out for obvious reasons

2020-03-01 19:02:34 UTC

My buddy Serp made a good point the US's millitary budget is bullshit

2020-03-01 19:02:43 UTC

since like Russia has a nationalized defense industry

2020-03-01 19:30:45 UTC

Actually higher taxes don't make people leave, at least income taxes don't

2020-03-01 19:31:28 UTC

Even with moderate taxation in Europe they avoid taxes as best they can

2020-03-01 19:32:57 UTC

Though it depends on the type of tax

2020-03-01 19:35:07 UTC

It’s high corporate taxes that makes firms relocate

2020-03-01 19:35:15 UTC

Not private citizens

2020-03-01 19:38:19 UTC

Yeah but unless you're willing to have a meme corporate tax rate like Ireland they're just going to move to Ireland either way

2020-03-01 19:38:55 UTC

It makes more sense to not cripple your budget if you're a real country and not a glorified tax haven

2020-03-01 19:40:16 UTC

What's the worst that can happen? Less investment in RnD? No because a load of money is invested in stock market shenanigans rather than advancing a corporation or god forbid raising wages

2020-03-01 19:42:06 UTC

If I got to cut any tax I'd prolly start by raising the minimum income threshhold for income tax etc.

2020-03-01 19:42:36 UTC

Instead of cutting taxes for the wealthy or middle class basically cut it from the bottom
