@RIP Skelly I totally agree, government can be a force for good that can push our own ends. @Mr. Nessel I was just using a tax example. Just making the point id be fine raising taxes on the wealthy to boost services that would benefit the population like Child Benefits, Infrastructure, etc

I support that too, however it's quite the step to have a wealth tax rather than just raising income taxes

I was just responding to Charlemagne that government can raise revenue and then spend it in a way that benefits society. If I got to cut any tax I'd prolly start by raising the minimum income threshhold for income tax etc.
