return to tradition

2020-03-26 18:09:32 UTC

I'm trying little by little.

2020-03-26 18:11:25 UTC

Finishing Uni being first the most important step. Getting away from this clique as far as I can.

2020-03-26 18:14:25 UTC

I believe in you! Grow some Mint!

2020-03-26 18:14:43 UTC

I have a lot of mint

2020-03-26 18:14:46 UTC

The landlord fears the indoor gardener.

2020-03-26 18:17:14 UTC

mint is an incredible plant. 10/10 would suggest to new growers

2020-03-26 18:17:26 UTC

def don't do this

2020-03-26 18:17:38 UTC

Mint is a weed and will go everywhere

2020-03-26 18:17:45 UTC

however I am stuck with it now

2020-03-26 18:19:07 UTC

you have to prune vigorously. Also it helps keep away some bugs.

2020-03-26 18:19:43 UTC

I keep a small section in my strawberries.

2020-03-26 18:21:17 UTC

Ah, mint.

2020-03-26 18:21:33 UTC

Good smelling but a bugger when removing it.

2020-03-26 18:21:34 UTC

Raise chickens

2020-03-26 18:21:39 UTC

Nah, Cattle.

2020-03-26 18:21:46 UTC

Cattle are expensive

2020-03-26 18:21:51 UTC

Huge overhead

2020-03-26 18:22:00 UTC

From my experince.

2020-03-26 18:22:03 UTC

Not so much.

2020-03-26 18:22:09 UTC

Buy them when young.

2020-03-26 18:22:21 UTC

Or Buy when about 9 years.

2020-03-26 18:22:35 UTC

Need about 4 to keep the lineage going.

2020-03-26 18:23:12 UTC

Still expensive. They eat and drink a lot.

2020-03-26 18:23:23 UTC

Not if you buy enough land for them to free graze.

2020-03-26 18:23:27 UTC

Do you use antibiotics?

2020-03-26 18:23:36 UTC

Nah, im not a cattle rancher.

2020-03-26 18:23:52 UTC

What do you have cows 4?

2020-03-26 18:24:00 UTC

Not even one.

2020-03-26 18:24:06 UTC

Researched just a bit.

2020-03-26 18:24:19 UTC

-.- I've heard goats are better.

2020-03-26 18:24:24 UTC

And have talked to some friends about the subject.

2020-03-26 18:24:33 UTC

They are for harsh envoirments.

2020-03-26 18:24:37 UTC

But they are bastards.

2020-03-26 18:24:41 UTC

They also cost less.

2020-03-26 18:24:45 UTC

True.

2020-03-26 18:24:47 UTC

And are easier to maintain.

2020-03-26 18:25:03 UTC

Yes, i can agree. But there not as lucative as Cattle.

2020-03-26 18:25:04 UTC

Not maintain your stuff tho. Or time.... just hardier I guess.

2020-03-26 18:25:22 UTC

Long horne and Highland cattle are more lucrative because of the higher quality meat.

2020-03-26 18:25:38 UTC

True, but if we're talking survival or subsistence farming. Id go with chickens and goats.
