Tanks are good because they're hard to destroy but what's the point of a tank with outdated armour

also iraqi army never recovered from the 1991 war
and they were in terrible shape
since the iran iraq war
they used practice ammuntion vs modern american tanks
they had no air support
no helicopters
no modern atgms
no trained infantry
just a rag tag militia with obsolete weaponry

Russia doesn't have a cold war military budget anymore and its economy is roughly comparable to Italy's or that of the Benelux countries
