An Army in garrison is always looking for something to keep the troops out of trouble.

Scarriest things, A bored PVT, a 2LT with a compass, a SGM repeating back what you said as a question and a CW4 saying "Hay watch this, it'll be great."

I was at a high risk meeting, observing as a junior 68X, and BN SGM be spitting fire of disappointment to Cpts, 1LT

"Yal suppose to give your soldiers rewards they deserve. They work their back off for you. I am disappointed. DAMN!"

I had a CW2 worried about the "white stuff" (my itch cream) during lunch today lmao. He thought I was sick or something.

During the recent block leave, I was doing Brigade Staff CQ duty. Our BDE Com, Colonel, drops in. 30 minutes later, 1 Star comes by.

uht oh.

Cool guy. He just dropped in to ask us to collect soldiers not on leave and those living in the barracks.

Told us a 23 a day story. Soldier committed suicide in barracks during Xmas and wasnt found until two weeks later.

Worse day in the army I was on CQ and a soldier tried to commit suicide durring lunch hour

That's why with my training as Behavioral Health, I want to be able to help soldiers.

I got a good NCO to teach me.

Good CPTs and civilian contractors

Never made E-5 but I tought soldiers to be NCOs

With my NCO, I'm to act like an NCO (not like a real one but the qualities and holding myself accountable).

So it's weird being around other lower enlisted sometimes. I've seen a different world under him.

A lot of soldiers here don't get that kind of experience.

It's the usual e4 talking smack about Army and soldiers follow. NCOs aren't that good.

My second tour was a INF Div HHBN, and a bunch of PVTs out of the school house that I got for "Training them up" are now NCOs
