I think every parent should have the right to abort their child until age 3. It's more than enough time to say "I've made a huge mistake; I can't handle a kid" or "Holy shit, this kid is going to be a serial killer" but a dead 3 year old is really only a loss to the parents so if they decide they don't want it any more, that's their choice. Of course, if the child becomes 3 years of age, it is now considered a person and if the parents want it to die, they should start encouraging it to enlist in the military once it graduates high school. But if they don't want the kid, it should go through a waivers process where any other eligible and capable adoptive parent can claim the child in a ranked order. But, if it gets through unclaimed by parents, the kid goes through secondary waivers processes to be claimed for other societal needs ranked by priority such as medical research purposes, and then labor training purposes, and then organ stripping, and, if they aren't wanted for any of those such purposes, they get sent to a crematorium. No euthanasia. Just end em and powder em in one shot to save time and money. They had more than enough chances to be useful.
