Is there a Dicord for the Canis Society?

2020-03-20 13:29:04 UTC

No, I don't believe so. I might have requested to join awhile back and just forgot. All good.

2020-03-20 14:08:55 UTC

@Endeavour What is your opinion on conservationism and environmentalism? Can there be a balance between caring for the earth and your own sovereignty and people?

2020-03-20 14:22:35 UTC

what kind of question is that

2020-03-20 14:25:59 UTC

@21ooAB I support it. Preservation of the land is an essential component of upholding civilization. You can preserve the environment without being a leftist. In fact, considering how most leftists live in cosmopolitan cities made of blocks of glass and concrete, I wonder to what extent they really do care about the natural world. It seems like Left-Wing environmentalism is just another outlet to drum up guilt. It's an issue the right should take on.

2020-03-20 14:27:35 UTC

@Endeavour Theres a difference between left wing environmentalism and preserving national parks Teddy Roosevelt style

2020-03-20 14:27:45 UTC

Teddy Roosevelt should be the model for the American Right

2020-03-20 14:28:17 UTC

He was a war hawk but at least he was personally involved in his wars. Like how he led a division of like several thousand men in a war against Spain.

2020-03-20 14:33:52 UTC

There's not really any good Left-Wing arguments for preservation of nature because it's a materialistic ideology. The land has no intrinsic value to them. To Right-Wingers, you can make that argument.

2020-03-20 14:35:17 UTC

The only thing the left can say is that it will harm people if the environment is destroyed. But if it is destroyed in order to increase material wealth, a materialist doesn't really have any good arguments against it.

2020-03-20 14:36:40 UTC

Would it be fair to say that left wing solutions to “climate change” are more about power grabs than actually reducing environmental damage? Green new deal proposal in the US comes to mind.

2020-03-20 14:39:11 UTC

@ItzMidrex Yes. The average person has no control over the climate, but that doesn't stop the Left from calling you a piece of shit because of climate change. Just like they do with absolutely everything.

2020-03-20 14:42:01 UTC

@Endeavour. I feel that. They’ve seen more hell bent on squeezing the last life out of rural America than anything.

2020-03-20 14:44:27 UTC

@ItzMidrex Yeah that's the entire point. We're already seeing the UN and Jewish groups using the phrase "climate refugees". We all know where they're going with that one...

BTW I do believe climate change is real and a potential threat, but it's obvious that the Greta movement has a very different agenda.

2020-03-20 14:50:54 UTC

I enjoyed your video on finding authenticity, I wish more people would take that advice to heart.

2020-03-20 14:52:24 UTC

@ItzMidrex Thanks

2020-03-20 14:55:49 UTC

2020-03-20 15:11:58 UTC

😡 😡 😡

2020-03-21 16:58:44 UTC

@Endeavour
1. the destruction of nations/nationalism is necessary to avoid wars.
2. Traditions are mostly superstitions, what traditions do we even want to keep and why.

My father said this to me and Im not sure, whats your take?

2020-03-21 17:11:23 UTC

The destruction of nations and nationalism requires war nationalist countries in the past have been able to negotiate out of conflicts and make peace agreements and traditions aren’t mostly superstitions Ryan Faulk has a video on this recently which said that many not all but many laws and traditions had good reasons behind them even though the people that might have come up with them might not have known the exact reasons for them

2020-03-21 17:14:59 UTC

is the current peace in the EU not a result of the ideological destruction of its member states?

2020-03-21 17:15:35 UTC

The EU is lucky if it lasts another 20 years

2020-03-21 17:15:43 UTC

and what about traditions like, idk, binding hats and shirts from plant fabric and dancing in the flowers

2020-03-21 17:17:04 UTC

btw whether the eu lasts is not the question

2020-03-21 17:19:16 UTC

I don’t think that all the member states have destroyed their identities yet

2020-03-21 17:20:16 UTC

Like you can have peace without having a giant bureaucracy over all of your countries

2020-03-21 17:20:30 UTC

Idk if I’m explaining myself right

2020-03-21 17:21:41 UTC

The EU is also creating nationalism by bringing in middle eastern migrants who create trouble and by being generally inept

2020-03-21 17:24:26 UTC

As for traditions I was talking was mostly like the old religious laws etc that they followed back then but now we find that there’s a scientific reason for it like how homosexual intercourse was banned by the Abrahamic religions but they didn’t have an intuitive reason for it

2020-03-21 17:24:46 UTC

Now we know all the disadvantages of homosexuality in general

2020-03-21 17:25:04 UTC

Not all traditions are like this

2020-03-21 17:25:20 UTC

But a number of them have a certain truth to it

2020-03-21 17:26:20 UTC

Or like another one is that you should marry a virgin now we know that the more sexual partners a woman had before marriage the more likely she is to divorce

2020-03-21 17:26:37 UTC

@Fighting Gold idk if I explained my views well

2020-03-21 17:27:26 UTC

you did but theyre not what i was inquiring about
