I mean in all seriousness the advantage of having Discord as a platform outweighs whatever ostensible moral high-ground I'm gaining by not enabling the fraction of the Discord Inc. that is morally repugnant. At the end of the day pretty much every major piece of software coming from the west is partially the labor of our enemies, because our enemies are everywhere. Unless everyone here moved to some irrelevant BASTE AND REGPIL chat service (which does not currently exist by the way), we are still "benefiting" them since they largely profit off of your data, which you are givin away for free by agreeing to the terms of service.
im not even going to read it
good talk
totally not bad-faith trolling
what a cope
keep giving jews and devils your money
Lol, you could just not pay them
@Endeavour custom emojis? Plz
Is anyone here an expert on corporatism?
I’ve been trying to explain to two people what it is.
Is this a decent definition?: Corporatism is the economic philosophy in which the means of production are controlled by corporate groups via labour unions and the guild system. It advocates for a mixed economy, with necessary government regulations and the thrive of economic output from small businesses. Fascists like corporatism since it’s more friendly with national interests rather than that of transnational corporations. All parts of the economy work together to provide economic stability, leading to the overall goal of autarky, the status of self-sufficiency/closed economy with no trade from outside nations.
The labour unions and guild system rarely got practiced irl.
In practice it just ended up putting every worker in a state controlled labour union and either nationalizing or subordinating corporations to the state which was to upend class struggle and force everyone to work towards the nation's wellbeing holistically
I think the divide now is when it moves from serving the interest of the nation to serving the interest of the state officials within the governing apparatus.
