I am going to ask you to speculate. People often use mass shootings in the US to further their political agenda. Mass shootings in the US didn’t spike until 2011-12-ish. The country has had a problem with mental illness long before 2011. Guns were also very easy to obtain and widely owned long before 2012. The real question is, why 2011 specifically? Something must have happened? What event was so significant that it could trigger this explosion of mass shooting? No one knows because no one has looked. So i will ask you to speculate.

Not just with individual states but with individual countries as a whole. I don't really see it happening. The tech giants would have to start censoring really mainline stuff and there'd have to be enough support for people to keep fighting it and not get crushed.
