For the sake of having something to argue over

2019-02-06 15:43:53 UTC

Okay. What is the problem with the statement?

2019-02-06 15:44:22 UTC

A form if centralization is neccesary for a society with a free market to have cohesion

2019-02-06 15:44:54 UTC

Without a governing body, a free market would either make an oligarchy or total anarchy

2019-02-06 15:45:02 UTC

Silicone valley being a good example

2019-02-06 15:45:27 UTC

Likewise, most average people are getting a good deal

2019-02-06 15:45:42 UTC

If one had to choose however where would you prioritize.

2019-02-06 15:45:50 UTC

Regulation

2019-02-06 15:46:02 UTC

Only because markets are so strong.

2019-02-06 15:46:34 UTC

I think sales taxes are what I would work on eliminating first.

2019-02-06 15:46:47 UTC

You cant do that

2019-02-06 15:47:03 UTC

Reduce cost of living for the poorest

2019-02-06 15:47:12 UTC

And reduces taxes

2019-02-06 15:47:16 UTC

How can we be sure that the centralized government is taking our money and putting it where it needs to go? Most people don't pay attention to any sort of spending.

Besides, this centralization will no doubt water down the free market, eliminating the "free" aspect of the market.

2019-02-06 15:47:29 UTC

Keep in mind that the top 10% of the rich pay for 90% of the taxes

2019-02-06 15:47:48 UTC

Most average people are not paying their fair share

2019-02-06 15:47:53 UTC

Not entirely true

2019-02-06 15:48:02 UTC

The free market hasnt been free since we were born

2019-02-06 15:48:17 UTC

Most of top 1% avoid paying taxes by paying a fraction of what they would pay in taxes into charities, and by putting the majority of their money in off-shore accounts.

2019-02-06 15:48:23 UTC

Poor people pay the rich people's taxes through the cost of the goods and services they consume.

2019-02-06 15:48:36 UTC

And you are absolutely correct on that. We've never had a free market.

2019-02-06 15:48:39 UTC

And there is no way guarantee the rich wont fuck over others either

2019-02-06 15:48:54 UTC

And the poor are being replaced

2019-02-06 15:49:05 UTC

By offshore shenanegins, things the free market allows

2019-02-06 15:49:19 UTC

That is benefitting the poor more than harming for automation

2019-02-06 15:49:38 UTC

Thats highly immoral

2019-02-06 15:49:48 UTC

A country exploiting another for gains

2019-02-06 15:49:56 UTC

And then their population explodes

2019-02-06 15:50:06 UTC

And now we have refugees wanting to get their fair share

2019-02-06 15:50:18 UTC

For providing slave labor and cheap goods

2019-02-06 15:50:34 UTC

Like how we wont leave the mjddle east cause oil

2019-02-06 15:50:42 UTC

Or africa and its poor consitions

2019-02-06 15:50:53 UTC

Or china and india

2019-02-06 15:51:12 UTC

Buying from those countries ks hurting them hard and its going to bleed into the west

2019-02-06 15:51:57 UTC

Everything has a price. Weve been accumaliating debt

2019-02-06 15:52:08 UTC

And exploiting other countries to avoid it

2019-02-06 15:52:31 UTC

Debt has helped put us much farther ahead than wee should be. Everyone has a car and a house

2019-02-06 15:52:55 UTC

Debtis a goverment handled issue

2019-02-06 15:53:23 UTC

It hurts the free market though.bad. but it helps the poor

2019-02-06 15:53:53 UTC

And what most people have in money is not enough to pay for all the things they enjoy that they dont pay for

2019-02-06 15:54:22 UTC

If you want less regulation, go ahead. But people will have to rely on themselves alot more
