@Timcast what do you think of the farm murders in South Africa?
Huh, what happened to the left I used to hear about?
Also, you gonna do a vid on that book? @Timcast
I also see its published by a Mark Bray
Wikipedia lists one. But doubt its that one
It seems to be Antifa is the same mindset that the columbine kids had, only grown up and more organized... scary
Well, you have a group that hates the system.
Some seek to change it, but some seek to destroy it and rebuild it.
Problem is, they all see themselves as the leader of this new utopia they intend to create.
utopia always ends is distopia
Isnt a distopia supposed to look like an utopia to its inhabitants?
And the Columbine Kids hated the system, people, everything and wanted revenge and to take eveyrthing down with them
antifa has a ton similarities
sure some probalby want to rebuild, but I think the majority just want to see the world burn
or at least the vast majority
or a simple majority, whatever 😄
Thing is, Antifa are not exactly those youd see as victims of the system
You are talking educated, middleclass people.
So weren't the Columbine group
Couple you mean.
sure
What I'm saying is that that mindset
found a larger audience
and technology alowed them to connect
back in 99, internet, facebook, twitter, etc wasn't anything what it was
so that same middle class victim mindset grew up and found allies in action
Hmm, what stopped them from grabbing guns and shooting up a school?
Something must have snapped there.
Or maybe they were just born psycopaths
What stopped Antifa?
from doing so during school isntead of getting to college?
Well, if we are comparing columbine to antifa yes
maybe bigger plans collectively?
or just delayed action
who knows
I'm no psycholigist, but I would guess that there is quite a bunch of overlap of the mindset that causes the two events and groups
Well the hate for the system is a given
Still, you are in a hard place
Bullying growing up, social views, etc
Would we know that?
