just because it is my own world view doesn't mean it isn't true
Yea
you need to explain your point saxon
which point
if you can't observe that we are all different from each other then what is there to discuss
about equality
well
my point is striving for equality is dumb
you can never achieve it
biologically yes
but in the eyes of the law you are equal
no, the law is never applied equally all the time
Explain
the biological element isn't removed
people's biology plays a part in the law not being applied equally
Ah i see
it's a pipe dream, live in reality
can you give an example
do you really think we are all equal under the law?
in practice
well by definition yes
not in theory
well no
in practice is what matters
but im wondering
are we talking equal opportunity or outcome
^
give me an example of something where we can create equal opportunity
obviously there can't be equal outcomes because people are different from each other
two kids in school
same class same teacher
same classes, same teachers forever?
yea
how are we defining opportunity
you can make the classes and teacher the same, are their breakfasts, lunches, dinners the same?
etc...
okay 2 kids in boarding school
for them to have real equal opportunity they need the same nutrition right?
im not sure
at some point things become unequal, what about the favoritism of teachers?
