you're in the fucking wrong.
Neckbeard in that photo is somewhat acceptable, I'd say.
by comparison with smooth operator.
I never thought I would be in a Tim Pool Discord
I've been in too many gun communities.
The memes are great and they teach you tons of neat stuff but my god.
The level of stuff you learn that paints people as idiots.
Stolen valor, mall ninjas, oper8rs, etc etc.
I'll be the first to say, I'm still learning shit. I've only recently begun to unfuck my firing technique.
I.E. proper use of ironsights (keeping both eyes open), Not flinching at the trigger.
That's why they suggest you start at 22 rifles.
I have never fired a gun
Naah. I went hard mode.
I bought a nugget.
LOL
Californian intensifies
Yeah that's definitely gonna fuck your firing stance if you're not ready.
I was thinking of picking up a ruger 10/22 this summer tho
I'm probably going for a 9mm full metal something or another.
Would go smaller but I need something practical for more than just practice.
Go used if you can for the 10/22.
Cheaper, no point in paying extra.
Older models tend to be built better than the new ones anyway.
just gonna be weird because noone in my family (on the west coast) owns a gun
My next rifle, I'm thinking about getting a Scout. First handgun, I'm looking at a Beretta 92.
so like it'll be weird
So what?
It's really not that weird once you've got one.
right but I feel like there will be a stigma or something
You're basically buying really expensive powertools.
It's for hammering nails
at 200 yards.
Actually.
If you want dual function guns.
Get a makarov.
Jesus, man.
Hey, it works.
I'm dying over here.
I have a good friend who owns guns so maybe that'll make it less weird if I make him involved
