he's already been convicted
^
also, context doesn't matter
and now will serve his suspended sentance
i.e. count dankula
so there is no court to decide if he actually violated parole?
nope
its done
hes already going to prison for 13 months
like I said
so then why didn't the police just arrest him the moment he went on parole?
apparently that is legal
also, it would be hard to interperet hes not talking to the media
start from there
they probably thought he would f*k up in some way
and actually say something racist for once 😛
you guys in the UK really have no probation hearings? we have them in the states. you still get taken to a judge
he wasnt out on probation as such... its just his sentence was suspended
so they just "unsuspended" it... he was always going to do 13months
what does suspending even mean?
"you are gonna serve it....eventually"
but with actual probation he may not even do 13months... if he survives
yeah basically gives you time to get your affairs in order
hes only been sentenced because he mis-filed a mortgage application or something
that makes a little more sense, but still seems a tad bs to not have a judge go "yeah, thats legit, cut the suspension"
be like him getting it unsuspended for a parking ticket because a meter ran out
since he's already been sentenced i dont think it need to go up to a judge level anymore
yes he could very well get unsuspended for a parking violation
well like i said why bother with a suspension at that point if all it takes is a police offer saying "i arrested him"
basically.. if you want your jail time to remain suspended you have to be a model citizen above all other model citizens
forever?
but you will still serve the time
no the sentence is suspended to a specific date
even that doesn't save you
like i said, apparently just the cops claiming he did something, even if he was just walking into his house, is enough if no judge is involved
basically
prety much .. although it probably is still a decision made by someone high up
now its entirely possible a judge just went "unsuspend it" without even looking at evidence.
still bs but at least a judge called it
