when the cookie law first came around in about 2010 it got me lots of work 😃
the fact that 'warnings' of the only way the internet can exist is mandated
thats too much
apparently people don't know how the internet works when they got pissed at facebook and google for being facebook and google
imagine everytime you make a cup of coffee the coffee machine has a popup warning you about the dangers of caffeine
"oh look, i can use this for free..... HOW DARE YOU NEED TO PAY FOR THIS SOMEHOW! "
honestly, given the level of caffeine addiction, might not be a bad thing
would be annoying as hell however
no no no no
life is danger
fuck the warnings
but then how would people know not to stop chainsaw blades with their genitalia
natural selection
checkmate
the consequence of too many warnings is you unlearn the population to take responsibility for their own health
just like with anything there is give and take.
i mean, its probably a good idea to tell people something is a poison before they try and drink it if they didn't know before
you can search the internet, wikipedia for basically anything that could harm you
do you do that with everything all the time 24/7?
you can search the internet and find lies too
my personal favorite site http://www.dhmo.org/
and honestly i dont interact with that many things, and i dont think many other people do either
but i know enough to know not to ingest random liquids
also knives are sharp
guns go pow
do you let other people take the fall before you learn some of those things?
if no one said a stove was hot, how would you know before you touched it?
well you can feel the air around the stove
it makes the room hotter
metal smells hot
how do you know the metal smells hot if you don't know that the metal you are smelling is hot
cause i cook for myself
at some point someone needs to either tell you this, or you touch it
or, you see someone else touch it
yeah parenting
you learn as a child
fire indeed hot
well, like i said, give and take.
its not the same
it is. tell me, if a young kid is never told what information these sites keep on him, the site goes out of its way to hide this from him, and he sees everyone using it seemingly without care, what reason would he have to think there is a problem and therefore go research it
