if you don’t want to fight in the military, you’d need to quit. you can’t just refuse to follow orders

it means they keep the oath of it when they took it

the oath never changed

it says to defend the constitution

not the current constitution

the oath would be nullified if a major change happened

and many would refuse to redo the oath dependant on views

not to mention the threat from the popular to start a war if seckdn amendment is changed
