Guns are cool and all, but obviously we need to improve our system. There are countries like Switzerland with huge gun ownership - yet a tiny fraction of the gun violence we have here in the US
And I absolutely refuse to buy this idea that it's "cultural" and Americans are just retarded somehow
It starts with the law books - and they have many differences, including better background checks, mental health screening, mandatory firearms training, etc
The argument that criminals will just get guns regardless (3D print them, make them out of plumbing pipes, black market, etc) simply does not pan out very well
Australia has a very low gun tolerance and most of the population don't own guns, look how well australia is doing
