Texas Bands are practically Collegiate bands in the rest of the country.

they take cheerleading seriously too

i took band in middle school

I learned Trumpet and Trombone in middle.

but didnt want to do marching band so did not continue into high school

Never took to music until I got my Violin.

Then I learned everything I could..

taught myself Guitar and Piano

I did a bit of HS band. But couldn't get used to marching in the Texas sun in quarter inch full body wool.

my Dads got a Masters Degree in Guitar Performance from University of Miami. He teaches private lessons now and is part of an all guitar orchestra
