I think prioritization should largely be dependent on need

I think college is overrated.

For most things.

which college or more specifically department needs it more

I think we should be encouraging trade schools more

balance it out

I wanted to go to college up until 2007.

to many people with Bachelors degrees lessens their value

I actually got scared out of trying to go to college by some of the stuff Obama was talking about.

UIL in Texas is serious business. I remember being in Band.

BAND they take seriously.

Texas Bands are practically Collegiate bands in the rest of the country.

But then again

they take cheerleading seriously too

so...

i took band in middle school

I learned Trumpet and Trombone in middle.

but didnt want to do marching band so did not continue into high school

Clarinet here

Never took to music until I got my Violin.

Then I learned everything I could..

taught myself Guitar and Piano

I did a bit of HS band. But couldn't get used to marching in the Texas sun in quarter inch full body wool.

well, kinda, on piano.

my Dads got a Masters Degree in Guitar Performance from University of Miami. He teaches private lessons now and is part of an all guitar orchestra

Quit pretty soon thereafter.
