That could be argued pretty strongly yeah
But I think that undersells the uniqueness of capitalism. I don't think just because a society is homogenous that it can't create diversity and competition of thought within a single culture
That depends on the culture
case in point, "white culture"
pfft.
Which is to say, European.
Very diverse
wtf is 'white culture' even
Don't get me started on 'White Culture' or 'European Culture'.
White people don't have culture.
even within one country you have multiple various groups which do not see the world the same way
But it literally is lmao
They have culture"S"
Don't get triggered by the use of words after having literally just said we need to defend words.
Italian Croatian Spainish French German Nordic Irish Scottish English Welsh
hell some of those are even within one damn nation
and there's more where that came from
rye we could take most of those countries and divide them up into far more groups
So America has an Italian Croatian Spainish French German Nordic Irish Scottish English Welsh culture?
Oh yeah, I know.
As someone who is Greek and German I can verify that Greek culture and German culture is 100% the same, if you are a Progressive who has no fucking clue about Greek or German culture.
No, it has multiple subgroups of American culture
America is America 😃
Woodchuck you almost got me with that damn line
Which is distinct from Canadian, Australian, British, French and German culture
I was about to angry-type at you.
lol
There is no white monoculture
^ ^ ^
There's no Asian monoculture.
It belittles the vast history of Europe to say such. It's historical cuckoldry
Point i think that could be made, even if you look at french speaking canadians the cultures vary
If you try to lump a korean in with the japanese you're going to have a very angry korean on your hand.
and likely an angry japanese person.
i did once while dining tables and said korean man had a very good sense of humor about it
'DO I LOOK LIKE A ISLANDER TO YOU!" (in a satirical way, then ordered multiple beers)
Was he native or immigrant?
I would say as close to one being white is the American culture, though. Yeah we're diverse in other respects but the lawful and traditional side of our culture is very anglo/european which is undeniably caucasian.
immigrant to US but obvious grew up, mostly spoke korean
i was young i wouldn't usually have asked but i didnt know any better
So he had enough experience with the US to know we're kinda dumb to foreign culture.
