We like Seattle, mostly due to the rock history
Plus rain
Nice
You will like it there
If you ever wanna go somewhere else, try texas
:D
Mostly stay away from Houston. >->
Place is too big and expensive
Texas intrigues me, my girlfriend's worried about it though. She's heard a lot of horror stories about Texas being racist, she's latina
I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be at all though

Half of texas is hispanic
Tell her she's crazy
Mostly cut a line from el Paso straight to Houston and the southern half has a large Hispanic pop. Upper is Anglo pop and Houston and a coast has a huge black, Asian. Other minority populations
But
Yeah
I'm Hispanic too
I live in texas >->
If you want safe
San Antonio or Austin
And you good
Lmao, fair enough
Tbf it's not her, she's rational, it's just she's gullible and has edgy friends
the tolerance overflows
California's fine though. They just need to push more gun reform, more of these so-called "common sense gun laws" and the problem will magically fix itself. The politicians guarantee it.
Not like they're one of the most extreme anti-gun states in the country or anything.
posted earlier, but deserves discussion:
The hivemind grows
God damn
We may not like this and for good reason but I'm sorry to say this is a loosing battle. Our children are going to grow up with this. A purely personalised, projected view of the internet based on your interests and bank balance.
If you were to take it away from them they would ask for it back. 'how am I supposed to cut through all the junk?' They will cry.
The problem comes from the principle. To put restrictions on this sorta stuff, generally more restrictions harm a market, but there's not really space for competitors when everyone's in agreement on using one service that's established and has no real major competition
When I was in high school (18ish years ago) When ever we went to the computer room the teacher would say 'now go to google.co.uk, thats the best' I wonder how many kids my age were told that and if the school got any kick back for it. I have not used google in front of my son. He knows of it but uses duckduckgo.
I'm doing my part. Are you?
I mean I don't have a kid, though
```A state os emergency for protests but not the thousands of rapes.```
Its not just the rape, its the violence in general, the knife attacks/stabbings like .
People living with those "new-Germans" are afraid and the political class takes one dump after another on the normal german People, that were here 30-40 years ago and/or born here. They do not listen to what the People have to say. And thus they demonstrate and hope that they can change - as you know those mass demonstrations did change something almost 30 years ago, back at the end of the 90s.
And thus this shit starts in the east because they lived in an authoritarian surveilance state and some people still remember the time...
Anyway, at best the demonstration change the politics but tbh, I doubt that. They are just too far from the poeple, same as the Press...
So the future in Germany looks pretty dark and probably violent...
And remember the story I posted a couple of days ago? Where a Camera team was thrown out of the appartment by the father, because their son let tehm in (I don't know the age of the son but wouldn't be surprised if we are talking about something like 12-13) and *the camerateam pressed charged against the father!*
