2018-09-05 01:37:23 UTC

2018-09-05 01:37:42 UTC

But yea Dems just do the bare minimum

2018-09-05 01:37:43 UTC

Tbh it think it was a litter thing more than an environment thing

2018-09-05 01:37:53 UTC

Repubs just dont give a shit or thinks its fake

2018-09-05 01:38:11 UTC

In the case of China, the Beijing Olympics showed alot of people what a clear sky looked like. Then they ran some numbers on stuff like particulates. And now they want to clean it all up.

2018-09-05 01:38:44 UTC

@Beemann no, the argument for the straw ban was that it was ending up in the ocean. There's actually a nice Reason article on all the arguments....they were thought up by a 16 year old.

2018-09-05 01:38:52 UTC

Millennials ACT like environmentalists but they are one of the most wasteful generations i have ever seen, and im one of them.

2018-09-05 01:38:59 UTC

^

2018-09-05 01:39:10 UTC

my own generation pisses me off alot

2018-09-05 01:39:18 UTC

See, I'm *not* and environmentalist. But I still recycle.

2018-09-05 01:39:35 UTC

It's just not that hard to throw the cans in a separate container.

2018-09-05 01:39:37 UTC

we recycle more than we trash at my house lol

2018-09-05 01:40:41 UTC

I hate the segments if gen Y and Z that have no respect for their history or culture

2018-09-05 01:40:47 UTC

We have plenty of hippies here

2018-09-05 01:40:50 UTC

2018-09-05 01:41:07 UTC

I personally can't stand the ones who actively seek to destroy it.

2018-09-05 01:41:22 UTC

recycling technically doesn't do all that much but its a start

2018-09-05 01:41:22 UTC

Like, ignore it if you want, but don't go around trying to badmouth it all all the time.

2018-09-05 01:41:22 UTC

Like it's trendy to have backyard vegetable gardens and shit

2018-09-05 01:41:33 UTC

People try to buy local and all that

2018-09-05 01:41:35 UTC

That's always been trendy.

2018-09-05 01:41:52 UTC

depression era people had to plant gardens just to survive

2018-09-05 01:42:00 UTC

we should do that but without the depression economy

2018-09-05 01:42:25 UTC

It's just that it was usually people looking to save a buck or do some gardening rather than yuppie millennials posting on instagram every time they harvest. You usually did it to be humble.

2018-09-05 01:43:04 UTC

But yeah I'm ashamed of that cuck here from the anti racism whatever the fuck who told that guy he had no culture cuz he's white

2018-09-05 01:43:12 UTC

@Lagomaster24 I'm going to respectfully disagree. You can get good economies of scale in farming and not everyone is cut out for running a vegetable garden.

2018-09-05 01:43:28 UTC

Plus, it's really hard to get anythign of any size in a city center.

2018-09-05 01:43:54 UTC

Well im just saying that during the Great Depression people planted gardens if possible

2018-09-05 01:44:08 UTC

@Beemann Now *that* doesn't make much sense. Isn't the usual argument that white people control the greater culture and it's somehow innately racist?

2018-09-05 01:44:12 UTC

and i wouldnt have anything against encouraging gardening

2018-09-05 01:44:14 UTC

It's there to compliment, not supplement

2018-09-05 01:44:22 UTC

No the argument is that whites have no culture

2018-09-05 01:44:29 UTC
