Yeah basically.
eff hurt feeling, actual violence or its free speach
I would also accept in the case of social media constraints on requiring personal information (part of privacy)
Tim Pool is too socialist for me, but he seams more reasonable. I can live with that.
I like Tim. Disagree politically, but he always seemed honest to me.
Tim Pool is waaaaay left yes but he has reached his decisions with facts and reseach so heis actually reasonable
As kind of joke here is what I wrote recently on one of his YT videos on educational debt - it was a joke:
Tim let me tell you your future. First they will shut down YT and other platforms, so your freelance journalism career is over, because fake news. The socialists will come and free all these party animals useless degree-ed students from their debt. The debt is monetized with fiat currency, causing inflation - so everyone pays. You then decide to go work for some bigger journalistic outlet as a grunt at low pay. Because you don't have a degree, they will make one of these degree-ed idiot students, now older, your boss and frustrate the hell out of you. Now you are the sucker. At this point you finally get red pilled and vote for the then current Trump, which makes you a racist scumbag. If they find out you voted for Trump, you will be doxxed and fired. Your wife divorces you the loser and you are now living on the street. Welcome to the world Tim, enjoy.
...That's already how the game is being played.
College degrees are the new Church.
A means of conferring status.
you are 100% correct there @TraderPropShop
The new socialism is actually monarchist conservatism.
it isnt conservatism at all
A comment like this on TYT will get you shadow banned.
they do not want to conserve only tear down and replace
and it isnt new socialism, its the exact same socialism with a different PR campaign
you mean the young turks yeah Trader?
<-- old
It's a way to bring the aristocracy (the college degreed persons) back into power (see the shutting down of alternative narratives in conformance with the ideologies of campus) and economic power (releasing debt, centralizing with the government that values higher degrees, financing healthcare from productive sectors like mining to help people in poorer sectors like journalism).
@Jes yes TYT .... and no I never say young turds.
or libtard or anything like this
A reaction to economic liberalization to return to something more heirarchial.
Reestablishing those who feel their status deserves them to be on top to the actual top.
thats more cassism than conservatism. just back then it was hard to distinguish the 2
classism*
Ok, fair.
But the textbooks usually call it "conservatism." It's a bad term to use.
Because it's very different from modern conservatism.
And it's more of a return to a strictly hierarchical system on status.
I was born into poverty in the UK however through hard work (and a little luck) im middle class now. thats the joy of capitolism. if you want it enough you can get it
@Jes you in the UK, I am in the south of France
im anti anyone that has a 'class' that defines them - thats just more identity politics and that is inherently evil
quick, move before Brexsit!
we'd happily take actual europeans. we have over 1,000 years of shared history
Yeah, that's the thing. In history, there is a strong tendency for "high status" individuals like the church to take the top positions. Capitalism divorces the granting of status and the production of wealth. In capitalist countries it hits the point where production of wealth *becomes* status.
Hell, England and France have been at war with each other (in total) longer than some countries have existed
but when WW1 broke out we grouped up
same for WW2
no animosity (other than jokes) between our nations, we came to help out vs totalitarianism
