At this point you finally get red pilled and vote for the then current Trump, which makes you a racist scumbag. If they find out you voted for Trump, you will be doxxed and fired. It's a way to bring the aristocracy (the college degreed persons) back into power (see the shutting down of alternative narratives in conformance with the ideologies of campus) and economic power (releasing debt, centralizing with the government that values higher degrees, financing healthcare from productive sectors like mining to help people in poorer sectors like journalism).

Because it's very different from modern conservatism.

And it's more of a return to a strictly hierarchical system on status.

Yeah, that's the thing. In history, there is a strong tendency for "high status" individuals like the church to take the top positions. Capitalism divorces the granting of status and the production of wealth. In capitalist countries it hits the point where production of wealth *becomes* status.
