Having no historical precedent would be advantageous to anyone wanting to try it.

2018-10-05 15:29:40 UTC

"Three of the five justices said that lack of consent to artificial insemination cannot be used to challenge the presumption of parentage."

2018-10-05 15:31:04 UTC

LMAO

2018-10-05 15:32:19 UTC

Wew

2018-10-05 15:32:33 UTC

Watch that law get changed only for artificial insemination

2018-10-05 15:33:16 UTC

Does the law assume that wahmen can't be fathers?

2018-10-05 15:33:22 UTC

Very transphobic

```https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2018-10-04/the-big-hack-how-china-used-a-tiny-chip-to-infiltrate-america-s-top-companies
Screw the kavanaugh hearings, we got bigger fish to fry```
I smell bullshit here.
You need a bigger package to do that than the shown 0402 one. That smells like Stock Manipulation or an idiot wrote some garbage. They should prepare to be sued by SuperĀµ...
If we were to talk about a bigger Chip, maybe. But something in that package, naa. That smells like Horse Shit and utter nonsense from a Technological Analphabet.
2018-10-05 15:44:51 UTC
Because you need some intelligence (=LOgic, CPUish thing) and also a bit of Memory is a good idea. Do you really think that that can fit into a 0402 package Chip?? Or even 0603??
Here a bit of Information about SMD Resistor Packages:
Austria gets a new weapon legislation
2018-10-05 16:42:50 UTC
- hunters now may use silencers
- refugees and other foreigners have a complete weapons ban. they are not allowed to even carry a pepperspray or knife.
2018-10-05 16:58:10 UTC
Daines flying by private plane.
2018-10-05 17:26:17 UTC
Should grab Trump by the ear and have him offer Air Force One
2018-10-05 18:03:11 UTC
If he did that the shit show would be spectacular
2018-10-05 18:51:35 UTC
Kavanaugh Advances to final vote. Cloture (ending debate and any filibusters) occurred today 51-49. Murkowski (R-AK) voted against, Manchin (D-WV) voted for.
2018-10-05 18:51:57 UTC
This could all soon be over.
2018-10-05 18:52:33 UTC
he's in
2018-10-05 18:52:40 UTC
absolutely
2018-10-05 18:53:06 UTC
There's apparently some talk of votes changing. But this is a good roll call on how things probably stand.
2018-10-05 18:53:27 UTC
We shall see. We will probably have the final Tally by Monday.
2018-10-05 18:56:22 UTC
But don't you believe women?
2018-10-05 18:57:19 UTC
You must hate women.
2018-10-05 19:13:25 UTC
Nothing in here directly about Freedom of Speech and Censorship (no surprise, Khanna is a Democrat covering part of Silicon Valley), but there is something about "digital red-lining."
Step in the right direction, IMO. I won't support any regulation that doesn't assure an end to the political censorship the tech firms have been playing. But this has some high points (having not been able to read any more in depth of the proposal).
2018-10-05 20:33:16 UTC
```But don't you believe women?```
Not really...
Women only do stuff that's beneficial for them...

2018-10-05 20:36:45 UTC

@Stefan Payne it's entirely possible to get the tech that small. The biggest question is why add a chip to a board (detectable with the naked eye) when you could alter one of the chips going on the board? All of the chips are fabbed in China too.

2018-10-05 20:37:17 UTC

Exactly, it totally sounds bullshit.

2018-10-05 20:37:58 UTC

Also, there's the general ignorance of the article. Like: https://twitter.com/RichardBronosky/status/1048247890852892672

2018-10-05 20:48:51 UTC

I'm not sure about this.

2018-10-05 20:49:19 UTC

The language being used sounds profoundly untechnical.

2018-10-05 20:49:31 UTC

Altered the operating system's core to "accept modifications".

2018-10-05 20:50:16 UTC

That sounds like someone saying that a "tailored implant was inserted into the car's key hole to manipulate the state of the engine."

2018-10-05 21:04:58 UTC

You gave a fair metaphor for "that's not how any of this works". But, my problem with the article is that it shouldn't be speaking in metaphors at all about things this important.

2018-10-05 21:05:13 UTC

"operating system's core" **core**?

2018-10-05 21:05:42 UTC

What the fuck is the core? It has a **kernel**!
