Is cancer

2018-09-29 14:55:31 UTC

Carbon dating measures what is an assumed “normal” level of carbon content in an object. Then used the “half-life” of the carbon isotope to estimate how old the object is.

2018-09-29 14:56:16 UTC

This assumes you know what the carbon content was at the beginning. Assumes no catastrophic event has happened to change the carbon content.

2018-09-29 14:56:48 UTC

Radiation from the sun can change the carbon content.

2018-09-29 14:56:50 UTC

First of all, you know when catastrophic events happened because of sediments in the soil

2018-09-29 14:57:08 UTC

That radiation is assumed to be constant. It is not constant at all.

2018-09-29 14:57:18 UTC

And no, that doesnt come from carbon dating, it comes from different layers of soil

2018-09-29 14:57:54 UTC

Carbon dating doesn't work past 50,000 years

2018-09-29 14:58:00 UTC

You assume there’s never been an earthquake or tidal wove to displace the object you are observing.

2018-09-29 14:59:16 UTC

It doesnt, my friend. Thats why you have "sediment analysis", or "Relative Dating"

2018-09-29 14:59:28 UTC

up to 50.000 years ago, gucci with carbon

2018-09-29 14:59:35 UTC

from that point you must look at the soil

2018-09-29 15:01:21 UTC

I'm not your friend

2018-09-29 15:01:46 UTC

Let's approach this from another angle, Casimir's way

2018-09-29 15:02:01 UTC

You believe morality is relative

2018-09-29 15:02:18 UTC

You also believe in evolution and therefore survival of the fittest

2018-09-29 15:02:56 UTC

Yes

2018-09-29 15:07:07 UTC

Beyond any reasonable doubt, I could kill you. I box, I wrestle, I shoot, I hike, I have combat experience from the middle east and from the street. By the evolutionary standard, I am the better man and it would take a huge mistake on my part to lose, and I don't make very many of those.

2018-09-29 15:07:40 UTC

Would that make it right for me to kill you?

2018-09-29 15:07:44 UTC

You're probably wrong

2018-09-29 15:07:56 UTC

And I firmly believe in there is always someone better.

2018-09-29 15:08:03 UTC

Physical ability isnt the only thing that makes someone superior

2018-09-29 15:08:10 UTC

So there is definitely someone out there who can fight better than me

2018-09-29 15:08:14 UTC

Otherwise Humans wouldnt be superior to bears

2018-09-29 15:08:28 UTC

Now, regarding your question

2018-09-29 15:08:36 UTC

It depends on **your** view of morality

2018-09-29 15:09:12 UTC

If **you** or the society you live in believe that to be the "optimal way of living", then it is moral

2018-09-29 15:09:27 UTC

aka Spartans and their "purge" of disabled babies

2018-09-29 15:10:02 UTC

But what is moral to you, isnt moral to me.

2018-09-29 15:11:11 UTC

I don't just have physical ability and I'm not a very big guy anyway.

2018-09-29 15:11:31 UTC

I make up for it with extensive training and experience

2018-09-29 15:12:02 UTC

Lets assume that I was rich

2018-09-29 15:12:13 UTC

I would just hire someone bigger and with more experience than you

2018-09-29 15:12:42 UTC

You may now ask: Is that really survival of the fittest?

2018-09-29 15:12:49 UTC

My answer is: Yes

2018-09-29 15:15:22 UTC

But you are not rich

2018-09-29 15:15:31 UTC

I'm talking about the here and now

2018-09-29 15:15:33 UTC

I also have no idea if you are telling me the truth

2018-09-29 15:15:40 UTC

Reality, not fantasy

2018-09-29 15:15:51 UTC

Read what I said above

2018-09-29 15:16:45 UTC

Given the conditions I stated, would it be right for me to kill you?
