For the record, coups are usually terrible with installing fascism. Look at Spain, the falangists fizzled out fairly quickly.

You can still have elections in a 1 party state. I don't think it's ever been done before and it probably won't happen.

Maybe even an organization to ensure the safety of elections. Something like the Secret Service we have in America. But I can already see plots to kill presidents from them.
