legit we had our first racially charged murder two weeks ago
suspects were Maltese soldiers
upon investigation
Our military after the junta of 67 the military was "castrated"
one of the soldiers apparenly have been involved in a hit and run several months ago
and also they raided his house, they found at least 1000 rounds of unregistered ammo, and he's admitted to throwing a lot more into the sea
and neighbourhood surveillance cameras show he goes out in the middle of the night to shoot stray animals in his free time
wtf
great background checks on who goes into the military
So you don't a military to lean on, there at least any political escape or no political escape too?
we rely on the EU 🙃
to send like, UN soldiers or something
we're basically a very well developed third world country lmao
f
F
Well EU soldiers will be a thing in a year or 2
ay lmao
redistribution of military force?
how much of a socialist can they get?
Well, from what I see in Greece, they are going to get people enlisting on them. Here the socialists are trying to destroy the military saying that EU is the only help we need
doesn't Malta use the brussels rouble(euro) though?
There is already an unofficial company of "Merc police" in balkans used to counter riots
and I thought Lithuania's military was full of retards
yeah we use Euros
morons driving when piss ass drunk
we used to use Maltese Lira, which was LITERALLY the strongest currency in the world before we joined the EU
volunteer forces pushing dedovshina(basically severe hazing of new recruits) on fresh conscripts
to compare it, i used exchange rates from euro to filipino pesos, and Maltese Lira to filipino pesos
one euro is around 50 pesos
back then, 1 Maltese Lira was like
over 200 pesos
but when the banks were giving people euros in exhange for their Lira, they were giving euros at a 2.2 ratio
meaning 1 lira would give you 2.2 euros from the bank
but
if i were to exchange my lira into a euro, and then into pesos, i'd only get 120 pesos worth from my lira
The biggest crime here was that they changed drachmas, we never got a true exchange in Euros and inflation hit hard
they essencially cut 80 pesos worth of currency strength when they changed from Lira into Euros
that sucks man
do you still have some drachmae?
Nop
