Might try that, still trying to figure out what I want to do long term. As a little kid wanted to be a paleontologist but figured the market for that isnt in high demand for new faces

19k but I was the second to last cycle that got sent to any cab scout units

We were always told to hate the 11b in OSUT but after working with them and cav scouts I'd be an infantry anyday

Absolutly despise cav scouts with literally every fiber of my being

Never got to be in a tank after OSUT and had those shitty Strykers

I remember getting home and my dad had a hat for me saying "My other car is a Stryker" and took all the will I could muster not to throw that in the trash immedilty

Being with the infantry troop though never felt more happy in my entire life or as happy to go to work ever

Was gueling work but everyone was there to pull eachother up and through it and every day was learning how to better survive and keep eachother alive and improving eachother as soldiers and men. Hell still consider one of my Sergents damn near a surogit father

Motivated me enough I'd take a bullet for him with a smile on my face but trained us all well enough we'd never have to do that
