So they might as well abolish the for profit and run everything under federal in a way like the national guard. While every corrections employee would be trained centrally it would ultimately be up to the states for funding.

2019-08-10 23:47:44 UTC

A lot of jails and prisons seem to be just completely fucked depending on where they are because they are isolated and each need to learn how to deal with stuff on their own. Having it be like the national guard gives it a bigger pool of employees with better ability to adapt.

2019-08-10 23:48:48 UTC

I also believe that the actual inmates should be part of this as well as privates to the corrections team leader and up roles.

2019-08-10 23:49:40 UTC

Give inmates jobs and duties to set them up on the outside as one of the biggest factors to recidivism is lack of schooling and skills.

2019-08-10 23:52:04 UTC

Have the guards as mentors to teach and raise them up. Though I also think we should play loose and fast with the death penalty. Any violent felony in prison should be up for review for death penalty. Any prisoner that receives 20 years should also be up for death sentence.

2019-08-10 23:52:54 UTC

Let's face it 20 years is long enough that you might as well be dead. And if they have any trouble with you they shouldnt work to keep your ass.

2019-08-10 23:53:51 UTC

Chemical castration should be put up

2019-08-10 23:54:06 UTC

for convicted pedos and people that got convicted for rapes

2019-08-10 23:55:45 UTC

No @Deleted User . Convicted pedo should be death no question asked for violent rapes or rapes 12(there is a word for this) and lower.

2019-08-10 23:55:59 UTC

I'm fine with that too

2019-08-10 23:56:17 UTC

A bullet to the head is cheaper too

2019-08-10 23:56:30 UTC

Like there is statutory rape then there is an age when it's like aggravated

2019-08-10 23:56:56 UTC

Also I think law enforcement need to be more like Arizona

2019-08-10 23:57:12 UTC

Everyone is certified under a state organization

2019-08-10 23:57:35 UTC

So any Arizona police can arrest anyone anywhere

2019-08-10 23:58:45 UTC

State run police should help more in places that are smaller. Maybe even have regional police where several states have reciprocal agreements

2019-08-10 23:59:23 UTC

Dunno so much for state run police, as here they tend to be just the extended arm of the govt

2019-08-10 23:59:40 UTC

So depends on what govt you have, it can be allies or foes

2019-08-11 00:03:56 UTC

Police should never be the militia. That goes against what a militia is

2019-08-11 00:06:56 UTC

Tbh Policing should become part of the military

2019-08-11 00:07:29 UTC

When Greece had a hybrid militia/police crime was almost non-existant

2019-08-11 00:07:47 UTC

imagine what happened when socs abolish that 🙄

2019-08-11 00:11:24 UTC

For me it's better to have an autonomous entity the Military so govt can't influence it whatsoever and them having a policing routine

2019-08-11 00:35:05 UTC

Ehh

2019-08-11 00:35:37 UTC

Integrating police into everything more could help but the system needs an overhaul first

2019-08-11 02:21:18 UTC

@Deleted User military personnel are not qualified to be cops. Period.

2019-08-11 02:21:43 UTC

An 18 year old soldier is a nigger, a drone, a worker ant, a yes man

2019-08-11 02:22:15 UTC

A patrolman in almost any PD has about the same level of responsibility as an army NCO

2019-08-11 02:23:51 UTC

A private goes where he's told, does what he's told, etc.

2019-08-11 02:25:49 UTC

In policing it's totally different. Even basic training is different. You're expected to get yourself up out of bed. They don't tell you standards like ironed pants or shined boots. But you're fucked if you don't do it.

2019-08-11 02:26:39 UTC

You have morning PT and punishment PT but you're expected to work out on your own, study on your own, shoot on your own, etc.

2019-08-11 02:27:18 UTC

Then you go to field training. A few weeks of shadowing an experienced officer; a few weeks of working together with another officer; then a few weeks where they watch you.

2019-08-11 02:29:18 UTC

For the most part you get a beat, or in a smaller city you may have the whole city. You answer calls on your own; you decide if you wanna hunt traffic violations, you figure out how to solve crimes, you do all your own investigation, everything.

2019-08-11 03:37:08 UTC

Shadow banning and banning accounts. 🤷🤔

2019-08-11 03:38:50 UTC

They banned mitch for fucks sake lol

2019-08-11 03:39:51 UTC

A d what rags said. I'm sure you could try and swing for NCOs to have cop responsibilities bit not under e4

2019-08-11 03:39:54 UTC

And yes

2019-08-11 03:40:19 UTC

Cocaine mitch posted something for reelection on like twitter and they banned him

2019-08-11 03:40:32 UTC

It was people protesting him

2019-08-11 03:40:49 UTC

Trump better do something soon

2019-08-11 04:31:39 UTC

I think a long time ago MPs had to be E4 and up
