Though, I think Bethesda can salvage Fallout 76 and are clearly trying to fix the game and not piss off the fans. I’m even somewhat suspicious of the criticism they’ve been getting and about the controversies.

Some of it just seems a bit suspicious like the dufflebag controversy with the Powered Armor edition.

Also, yes, there’s a fucking controversy over a bag included in that edition about it being “falsely advertised.” Literally, the reason why is because, instead of it being a canvas bag, it’s a nylon bag...

So, as a result of this, Bethesda responded by providing in-game cash for the players that purchased it and were disappointed with it not being a canvas bag, which was around 5 dollars (or around the price for many canvas duffle bags). Yet, people are still pissed off because people then, of course, decided to intentionally misframe it as people not getting a refund for the entire package or complaining about them not getting a full refund for a duffle bag...

At this point, people are just stretching it to try to find more stuff to try to crucify Bethesda with. It’s just reaching the point of absolute retardation.

That’s about it, though. Bethesda isn’t an evil company. They do clearly care about their audience, but, like any business, they also have to do their own thing because, in truth, the rule of business is not that the customer is always right. Rather, the customer is always the customer.

I miss the days when you bought a game and it just worked... before patching became possible.

I don't even mind if physical discs go obsolete.... in all honesty, with the file size of games now... its faster in general to download/install than it is to read from a disc
